Creation Vs. Evolutionism

Creation, almost never has a word or thought or belief stirred such a strong reaction from so many people. Some people believe that the God from the bible created the world in 6 literal days and rested on the 7th, while others believe that it has evolved over millions of years from something as small as a period on this page. And still others who are theistic evolutionists insist that God used evolution when he created the world.

So what can be said about the truth of the bible vs.'s evolutionism. Many things actually. The bible has all kinds of things that show us Dinosaurs with Man in the history of our world. Not to mention that the only real answer to the debate is that God did in fact create it in 6 literal days and rested on the 7th.

Genesis 1:24
"Then God said, "Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind"; and it was so."

Now you might be thinking to yourself, " Well it does not say dinosaurs in my bible". While that is true let us keep in mind that the word dinosaur was not invented until 1849. Only then did that word start making its way into the english language. So of course it makes sense that it would not be there.

So instead we have words like dragon, beast, leviathan and behemoth.

Job 41:1,2,7,27-30
"Can you draw out Leviathan with a hook, Or snare his tongue with a line which you lower? Can you put a reed through his nose, Or pierce his jaw with a hook? Can you fill his skin with harpoons, Or his head with fishing spears? He regards iron as straw, And bronze as rotten wood. The arrow cannot make him flee; Slingstones become like stubble to him. Darts are regarded as straw; He laughs at the threat of javelins. His undersides are like sharp potsherds; He spreads pointed marks in the mire."

Job 40:15-18, 21-23
"Look now at the behemoth, which I made along with you; He eats grass like an ox. See now, his strength is in his hips, And his power is in his stomach muscles. He moves his tail like a cedar; The sinews of his thighs are tightly knit. His bones are like beams of bronze, His ribs like bars of iron. He lies under the lotus trees, In a covert of reeds and marsh. The lotus trees cover him with their shade; The willows by the brook surround him. Indeed the river may rage, Yet he is not disturbed; He is confident, though the Jordan gushes into his mouth,"

You will notice how it say in Job 40:15 were God tells Job "which I made along with you", then he goes on to describe this huge beast called the behemoth. Some believe that this refers to a hippo or elephant but the fact of the matter is that hippo's and elephant's do not have tails like trees. There is allot really that can be said but I would rather have you check into yourselves and see.

So in light of what the bible says we should examine all of the evidence and see what really not only makes sense but that which can actually be seen and tested. While some they may say yes, the bible teaches us that Man was created in the image of God. We are fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of our creator.

Genesis 1:26-27
Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

The evidence points to the fact that we have been made by God just like He has said in His word. That from the beginning of creation God has made all things that are and have been on the earth. So why does man continue in his pursuit of evolution?

Romans 1:18-23
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.

For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man-and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.
