Voice of Truth Radio - Statement of Beliefs

During this day and age of were anything goes in regards to the bible, we wanted to use what God has given us to bring the true message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We hope to encourage your faith and walk with our Lord Jesus Christ. From every topic to every need the bible has an answer for every situation. In these days of deception and outright lies it is important to know what Gods word really says. We are to not listen to false teachers but instead we are to leave them and listen to those who preach the truth.

We both hope that you will be encouraged in your walk, get fed with the solid truth of Gods word, and just sit down at Jesus' feet and learn of him who has given His life for us so that we might be saved. We believe that it is just as important for listeners to know exactly what we believe. In doing so and wanting to be honest and open here is a list of our beliefs.

The Bible

We believe that the bible is the word of God. Inspired and inerrant in the original autographs. It is the complete and final revelation of God to man.

2ti 3:16-17 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

 

The Trinity

We believe in One God. The God of Israel that is eternal. Manifesting Himself in 3 persons, The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. How he does it we just don't know. But we believe it. I mean if we could explain everything then there would not be a need for God.

1jo 5:7 For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.

 

Jesus Christ

Jesus was the Son of God sent to earth, born of a virgin to die for our sins so that we could be saved thru faith in Him. Jesus was God in the flesh and gave His life willingly, was buried, and rose again on the third day so that we could be reconciled to God.

John 1:29-30 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! "This is He of whom I said, 'After me comes a Man who is preferred before me, for He was before me.'

Ac 20:28 "Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.

 

The Return Of Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ will come for the church before the tribulation that is going to come on the whole world. Then at the end of the tribulation He will return to earth with all of His saints and angels, save Israel and set up His kingdom here on earth which will never end.

Re 19:11-16 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

 

Salvation

We believe that every person is born with a sinful nature and needs forgiveness from their sins. There is no other name under heaven by which we could be saved. The only way of getting forgiven from your sins is to have personal faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. There will be no one accounted as being righteous by there good works.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Eph 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

 

Hell and Satan

We believe that there is a actual place called hell that was originally made for Satan and his angels and not for man. Satan is a created being that fell from his original place due to pride in his heart that he would be God. Hell is reserved for Satan and his angels as well as those who do not put there faith in Jesus as there savior and Lord.

Mt 13:41-42 "The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth."

 

Israel

We believe that according to the bible the nation of Israel is a secular state. Even though they do not believe in Jesus as the Messiah, they have a special place in Gods plan and that eventually all of the promises of God to Israel will be fulfilled. Not according to there works but according to God's promises.

Jer 31:31-37 "Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the Lord.

But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, 'Know the Lord,' for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more".

Thus says the Lord, Who gives the sun for a light by day, The ordinances of the moon and the stars for a light by night, Who disturbs the sea, And its waves roar (The Lord of hosts is His name): "If those ordinances depart From before Me, says the Lord, Then the seed of Israel shall also cease From being a nation before Me forever."

Thus says the Lord: "If heaven above can be measured, And the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel For all that they have done, says the Lord.

 

In Closing

In closing there is so many more scriptures we can use as our stance. Our hope is that you will be encouraged by the ministries that air here on Voice of Truth Radio and that you will be fed good solid food which is the Word of God. We are just regular people as yourselves that need the Lord on a daily basis since without Him we are lost. May God continue to bless you in your walk and search for Him daily. Until He comes
